Dr. Silva’s compassionate approach, coupled with his use of state-of-the-art technology and techniques, ensure an outstanding patient experience.

Opening up his own dental practice in Olathe has always been a dream for Dr. Michael Silva. He knows and cares about the community because it’s always been home for him. He’s proud to bring his experience, advanced techniques, and progressive dental technology to patients with the opening of Serenity Dental. His passion for dentistry is rooted in being able to bring high-end care to each and every patient. He also takes the time to keep up with the latest technology in the industry.

“Utilizing the latest technology in the dental field is a passion of mine. Advances in technology continue to improve the patient experience while giving doctors the ability to provide superior results with less chance of complications. We use 3D-printed surgical guides for implant placement for this reason. Another example is the Solea® Laser; the laser enables me to do most routine fillings with no anesthesia. People tend to associate dentists with needles, so getting treatment without the use of a needle is something my patients get very excited about.” –Dr. Silva

Giving Back is Part of Who We Are

Apart from fulfilling his dream of being a dentist in Olathe, Dr. Silva is also fulfilling his dream of giving back to the community that has given him so much. Growing up, Dr. Silva’s first passion was baseball, and he believes that every kid should get a chance to play a sport they love. That’s why for every new patient at Serenity Dental, $10 will be donated to the Serenity Dental Equipment Fund at 3&2 Sports Complex to help provide equipment for the local children in need. It’s just another way that Dr. Silva and his team contribute to big, bright smiles.

“One of the things I get very excited about with the opening of my practice is having the ability to give back to the community that I love so much. When I was growing up, baseball was a big part of my life. There were numerous times when I had to depend on the kindness of others in order to afford my league fees or the equipment needed to play. That’s why I’m so thrilled to team up with 3&2 Baseball of Johnson County,” Dr. Silva says of his commitment to helping kids in need.
